Why We Do What We Do

Sevierly Blessed was founded in 2017 by Jason Sevier with the support and assistance from his family, with a mission to serve the unhoused and marginalized members of the San Diego community with compassion, dignity, and faith-driven support. As lifelong San Diego residents, we are deeply committed to helping our neighbors facing hardship by providing essential resources and consistent care.

Each week, Sevierly Blessed distributes an average of 125 meals to individuals experiencing homelessness in downtown San Diego. Since our founding, we have provided more than 55,000 meals to community members in need.

Through the support of generous donors and community partners, we continue working to address food insecurity and provide hope, connection, and compassion to those who need it most.
